July 4th Weekend, 2008
Friday July 4, 2008 was an amazing day with lift almost everywhere and we topped out at about 5,400 feet and the cumulous clouds were popping everywhere. Longest flight for the day was four hours. Many of our friends from Ohio came up for the weekend and I am sure they had a great time. Saturday gave us lift to 4,400 feet and it was a fairly easy day with good lift. Sunday had less lift and the longest flight was one and one half hours. With the spotty weather this year we were very lucky to have such a great Independence day weekend. We had at least four pilots named Larry so it was a great weekend for Larry.
