Hang Gliding Stories from Quest Air Pilots:

To get a break from the long cold winter in Pennsylvania my wife Brenda and I went to Florida and spent ten days at Quest Air. As with the year before when we were there lift was light and challenging but it was good practice for flying at home. Even with the limited amount of flying I had a number of enjoyable flights but what really impressed me were the warm friendly people that we spent our time with. Whether they were visiting pilots or part of the staff there was no exception. I can't wait to go back.

Our winter break started on February 7 th at Quest Air flight park and although we only spent our first five days there we had a great time. My best flight was thermalling up to 4,270 feet and the flight lasted for one hour and thirteen minutes so I was quite content. I had five other flight that we very challenging but none lasted more than 30 minutes. As usual we had great fun on the swing over the pond and out bike rides on the Van Fleet trail were wonderful seeing much wildlife. Mauree even saw teo alligators this year. Meeting many new and old friend is always a treat on our flying vacations and we wish you all the best.
